Three Charged In Meth Investigation

Three local residents garnered charges Tuesday after they were found to have methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside a Mahr Avenue home.

Lisa Ann Fox, age 33, of 1811 North Mahr Avenue, Courtney Denea Eledge, 19, of 669 Weakley Creek Road, and Justin Del Smith, 20, of 411 Fourth Street, were each issued citations on charges of illegal possession of Schedule II narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that officers made their way to Fox’s home around 10:30 p.m. after receiving a tip that individuals had been seen smoking meth inside. They report that Fox granted them consent to conduct a search of the premises.

During the search officers inquired about any illegal substances. They report that Fox led them to some meth and a pipe hidden in a couch.

Seized were a small amount of methamphetamine, aluminum foil, a spoon, drug tooters, and a plastic bag that contained drug residue, and a crack pipe.

Fox, Eledge, and Smith have been scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on May 1, 2014.
