James D. Vaughan Southern Gospel Festival Is Coming

Main Street Lawrenceburg is anticipating another sell-out for the James D. Vaughan Southern Gospel Festival slated for Friday and Saturday nights, July 24th and 25th.  Additionally, this year we are hosting a Saturday Matinee at 1:00 p.m.  The line-up of talent coming to Lawrenceburg is amazing.  If you follow Southern gospel, you will know that these are big names in the industry.  Reserve your tickets prior to the event and save $2.00.

General admission tickets for both nights and matinee tickets may be purchased at the Christian Book Sore (located on the Public Square) and at the Vaughan Museum (located on the top floor of SunTrust Bank on the Public Square).  You may also call 762-8991 for all seating availability.

Main Street hosts this event annually which completely fills up all the hotel room in the City and spills over into the surrounding counties.  Restaurants and merchants will see an increase in business during this two-day event, which, ultimately, results in sales tax going into the City and County coffers.  Main Street is dedicated to furthering the historic downtown area of Lawrenceburg, which in turn, we hope will benefit other parts of the City and County.

Ticket sales are already going strong so don’t wait to call or come by.  We hope Lawrence County folks will come out and support this nationally recognized concert.  Hope to see you Friday and Saturday at the historic Crockett Theatre.
