Saturday Crime Report

Theft

   A resident of Shoal Creek Road reported to deputies Wednesday that her television set had been stolen. She said that she had a friend take the 55 inch LG smart TV while she was out of town because she had worried that it would be stolen. She told deputies that when she returned, the friend denied that he had ever gotten it from her. She said that she is still making payments. Her loss is estimated at $4,000.

Theft

   Deputies met with a Highway 20, Summertown resident Wednesday who reported that his 60 inch, Swisher, pull behind mower had been stolen from his property. He had last seen the mower around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. He said he did not see or hear anything suspicious afterward. The mower is valued at $1,300.

Burglary

   Deputies report investigating a burglary at the old Blue Room Bar on Buffalo Road in the Ethridge area on Tuesday. They were notified by telephone that someone had broken out a window during the previous weekend, but that nothing appeared to be missing. Damages were estimated at $500.

Vandalism

   A Stephenson Road resident reported on Wednesday that someone had driven in circles in her field, causing approximately $300 in damages. She said that she had not heard or seen anything suspicious.
