Burglars target barber shop in Lawrenceburg

A barber shop in the City of Lawrenceburg was targeted by burglars last week, resulting in a loss of around $150 for the owner.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department answered the 11:05 a.m. call to Whiteway Barber Shop, 218 South Locust Avenue on Friday.

The back door had been kicked open, splitting the wood. A number of items were found piled near the door, however they were left behind when the person responsible left the property.

The owner reported that assorted coins, totaling around $50, had been stolen. The matter currently remains under investigation.
