Vehicle Rammed During Domestic Altercation

   Local law enforcement officials were summoned to intervene during the weekend when a West Lawrence woman reported her boyfriend had rammed her vehicle during a domestic altercation.

   Lawrenceburg Police Officers answered the call to an apartment building on Hannon Drive shortly after 11:30 p.m. Saturday. One of the women present reported she had been a passenger inside a car, owned by her boyfriend, when it was struck by his truck.

   When officers spoke with the forty-two-year-old suspect, he indicated he had been angry and argued with his girlfriend, but that he had not rammed the car. He stated that the driver of the car had, in fact, backed into his truck.

   Two witnesses did give written statements, indicating that the car “did go into reverse.”

   Officers advised the man to take his vehicles and head home. They report that no one was injured in the incident.
