Items Stolen From Solid Waste Department
Officials with the Lawrence County Solid Waste Department reported last week that some items had been stolen from their Baler Drive property.
Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were sent to investigate. Solid Waste Department officials reported that the theft had been discovered by some employees.
The employees reported that a torch and green gas bottle set were missing from the back warehouse. Two tire irons were also reported missing. The items had an estimated value of $1,200.
