Thieves Target Lawrenceburg Church
Police officers were dispatched to initiate an investigation this week at a Lawrenceburg church after church leaders discovered that the building had been targeted by thieves.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that officers were dispatched to Meadowview Baptist Church on Kennedy Street Monday. Church leaders had discovered that someone had broken a window on the rear of the building in order to gain access.
A search of the building revealed that some money was missing along with a bag of keys and check book. Leaders estimated loss to total around $220. Investigation in the case is on-going.
