Window Shot From Car Of Motorist

   An elderly Lawrenceburg woman traveling along U.S. Highway 43 Sunday told authorities that she believed someone had shot a window from her car while she was heading to church.

   The eighty-year-old victim reported the incident o Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies around 9:50 a.m. She stated that she had been heading north on Highway 43 on her way to church when the rear window of her car suddenly “shattered.”

   The victim quickly stopped, and reports that she heard several gunshots. She told deputies that she believed one of the shots was responsible for the damages to her vehicle.

   The matter remains under investigation at the current time.
