Businessman Suspects Someone Is Gunning For His Dogs

   A Lawrenceburg businessman reported to law enforcement officials late last week, a second attack on a dog kept at his business.

   Moises Manuel Alvarez, owner of Bubble Bath Car Wash, 2305 North Locust Avenue, summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to initiate an investigation on Friday.

   Alvarez told officers that he had gone out to check on a dog he keeps behind the business and found an arrow sticking out of the ground right next to the animal. Alvarez reported that just a month before, someone had shot one of his dogs with a shotgun, killing the canine.

   Alvarez told officers that he had no idea who might be perpetrating the crimes. The matter has been turned over for investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
