Lawrenceburg Council To Meet Thursday
Members of the board that governs the City of Lawrenceburg scheduled to meet in regular bi-monthly session Thursday morning are slated to consider a number of items of business.
The following is a list of items appearing on the Thursday, January 14, 2010, agenda:
*Ordinance 1058 – an ordinance to amend ordinance.1055 entitled Budget Appropriations of Revenue and Expenditures for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
*Ordinance 1059 – an ordinance to establish a charge for false emergency alarms not caused by a violent act of nature>
*A resolution to enter into a contract with Liberty Webs for the re-design of the City of Lawrenceburg web site.
*A resolution…to declare certain property in the Parks and Recreation Department as surplus to be sold on www.govdeals.com.
*A resolution declaring the intent of the City of Lawrenceburg to reimburse itself for
certain expenditures in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $1,700,000.00, relating to improvements to the flood control system of the city with the proceeds of bonds, loans or notes to be issued by the City of Lawrenceburg.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will get underway at 8:30 a.m. inside the commission meeting room of the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
