Mail Carrier Discovers Newspaper Rack Had Been Stolen
A mail carrier alerted authorities during the weekend, to the fact that a newspaper rack had been stolen from outside a Lawrenceburg market.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department investigated the matter at Buffalo Road Market on Buffalo Road shortly after 5:00 a.m. Saturday.
The complainant reported she had been contacted by a local mail carrier earlier that morning. The mail carrier reported she had stopped at the market to drop off Tennessean newspapers when she noticed the rack had been stolen.
The complainant told deputies she would notify market owners later in the morning. The matter currently remains under investigation.
