Suspect Captured Following Extensive Chase
Local law enforcement officials were involved in an extensive chase Thursday night that led to the capture of a suspect in a domestic dispute.
Details are sketchy at this point, however officials indicate that the situation emerged at a home inside the city limits of Lawrenceburg. The male suspect in the dispute reportedly fled from officers, leading them on a lengthy pursuit.
Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were joined in the chase by deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Officials indicate the suspect fled from the city, into the county, then led officers back inside the city limits. He was ultimately captured at a home on Maple Avenue.
One officer was said to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Additional details are expected to be released sometime Friday morning.
