Snow Is In The Forecast Again

Mother Nature gave us a somewhat white Christmas this year and our first measurable amount of the white stuff.  Now another chance at snow may arrive Sunday.

The forecast currently is giving a 30% chance of snow Sunday with a possibility of some accumulation Sunday night.  But it does not stop there.

Monday and Tuesday of next week will give us a chance at snow and more accumulation.  Click here for the forecast and Interactive Radar.

According to weather data collected at the Lawrenceburg Filtration Plant, about every 20 years or so Lawrenceburg experiences higher amounts of snowfall.

In 1964 Lawrenceburg received 16 inches of snow.

In 1985 the year total was 12.5 inches.  This year may be our year for a larger snow fall if you follow the roughly 20 year cycle.
